Elder C in the ATL

  Hey guys! This week has been really interesting. For 2 days of the week we had to stay in the apt because of the ice. So we made so many calls. It was lame.   On pday we went to the aquarium again! The dolphins are finally back so we got to go to the show. It was amazeballs   We have a friend named Ivan, who is getting ready for baptism! It was supposed to be yesterday but since church as canceled we had to move it. He passes his baptismal interview and everytbing! Now we just gotta wait.    On Wednesday we went shopping before the storm. Elder Smith, a senior missionary in the atl ward, took us. He literally almost killed us to and from target. But at target our friend came up to us and introduced himself! We have only had one zoom lesson with him but it was so crazy he recognized us!    We ate at best Mexican restaurant this week. I ofc for the Arroz Con Pollo. It was sooooo good. We are definitely gonna go back. I need my comp to make me some also...

Hey guys! This week was good. It's been so cold, and it literally sucked. I'm either freezing cold or hell hot. No in-between. It was apparently snowing in GA, but we didn't see any of it. sad Elder Larkin took us out to lunch after district council. We went to the original CFA🐔😋 It was so buss    We met this really cool lady who was telling us she was praying and asking God for help, and then we called her. It's literally a miracle. We had a really good lesson with her.   SELETA IS GETTING BAPTIZED🌊 She is on date for Feb 22 (2/22), and we couldn't be more excited! Her and her son love church and are so excited to join it!   We had another amazing lesson on Thursday, and we were there for ab 45 minutes . She said next time we come over, she is gonna get all the grandkids to come so they can learn too. HEY GUYS‼️   This week was just another week. Nothing too crazy happened. I feel like this week has just been a headache.   We had a lesson with one of our friends. He lives in a group home, and one of his roommates is a member! We were really excited to meet her. She is a very old lady and she just talked ab her medications and doctors. Then we had to get going and asked if she could say the closing prayer. FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER WE LEAVE.    There is a member of our congregation who only speaks Spanish but is married to a woman who doesn't speak Spanish. Don't ask me anything. I don't even know how it works. Elder Enamorado taught him all ab the temple. The lesson was prob an hour, and I just had to sit and nod the entire time.   But what made the week better was doing weekly planning under the sea. Iykyk. Hey guys! This week has been fast. Happy 2026. I celebrated by making sure my bed didn't fly away. Now it's the start of my blackout year‼️   This week, we had such great lessons! People can be so cool. We finally met our friend while she was at church. She's been to church twice and just now met her. She is so cool. She also brings her son, and he loves primary!    The members here are so fun. They are the realist people ever. We have a game night and gospel study every Friday. It is so great. Our friends come and mesh with the members and it's overall a great experience.   We had an amazing fast and testimony meeting on Sunday. 2 friends bore their testimony, and then another one bore it during class. Her testimony really stood out to me. She had no clue why she was at church. She was talking about how when she put in the request to meet with us, she was so happy.
