Elder C in the ATL

What is up everybody! This week has been roughhhh. This is going to be a longggg transfer, and I mean it. Plus, it's been so freaking hot outside. One of the highlights of the week was going on an exchange with Elder Woodward! I served in the same zone as him back in my Americus days. He's a GOATED missionary, and we had a lot of fun up in LaGrange. This exchange was much needed. Our most progressing friend right now is Rodger. I don't know if I've talked about him yet, but Rodger was taught by missionaries a few years ago. He wasn't able to get baptized back then because he had several addictions he needed to overcome. Well, now he's free from all of them! Last week, though, he started ghosting us, so we were a little worried. We finally got in contact with him on Friday, and he said he had just been sick. We went over on Saturday with his member friend, and together we made a calendar for the month of July. Now he can actually see that baptism is possible ...

Hey guys!    This week has just been full of storms. One day, we were under a tornado warning🌪 But it's been goated because I slept so good through the storms🤑   We knocked a whole lot this week since the temperature was a lot cooler. I was searching the map and saw a new apartment complex that didn't have records of people there that we talked to. So we went and talked to everyone and found amazing people there. A plus is that their lessons are all on the same day🙌🙏 #SavingMiles #YourWelcomeE.Pettingill   We also had zone conference this week! It was really good. We talked about strengthening our faith, along with strengthening our friends' faith. It was really insightful🤓 I also got to crank out the selfie stick. It was a hit. All my pics are flyyyyy 🤳🤳🤳🤳🤳   We had this amazing lesson with this woman named Kathy. We knocked on her door, and she was very interested in learning more. She has been visiting other churches but hasn't found the right one. ...

Hey, yall!    Dang, this week has been longgggg🧟‍♂️. We had transfers this week, and i lost elder duda😭 My new companion is Elder Moyo! He is from Zimbabwe! He is very hard working! It's crazy because my last companion was younger than Brinley, and now my new companion is older than Ethan!    The only downside of having an African companion is that he is already used to the heat. So he got us out here in 95⁰ weather knocking doors. It literally sucks🤣. But hopefully we'll have fruits from it. Might be a trip to the doctor for a heat stroke🪦   We were knocking this door of this lady named Gwen. They said she wasn't home, so we continued to go around the neighborhood. We see this lady in a walker yelling at absolutely nobody, so I went up to see what's up. Turns out she was Gwen. She gave us 2 Dr. Peppers that she kept frozen in her walking seat. Then she talked for about 30 minutes about so many random things. Then she told us she's a paranoid schizophrenia. ...
