Bye Elder Duda🙅‍♂️😭



Hey, yall! 
 
Dang, this week has been longgggg🧟‍♂️. We had transfers this week, and i lost elder duda😭 My new companion is Elder Moyo! He is from Zimbabwe! He is very hard working! It's crazy because my last companion was younger than Brinley, and now my new companion is older than Ethan! 
 
The only downside of having an African companion is that he is already used to the heat. So he got us out here in 95⁰ weather knocking doors. It literally sucks🤣. But hopefully we'll have fruits from it. Might be a trip to the doctor for a heat stroke🪦
 
We were knocking this door of this lady named Gwen. They said she wasn't home, so we continued to go around the neighborhood. We see this lady in a walker yelling at absolutely nobody, so I went up to see what's up. Turns out she was Gwen. She gave us 2 Dr. Peppers that she kept frozen in her walking seat. Then she talked for about 30 minutes about so many random things. Then she told us she's a paranoid schizophrenia. But she was telling good juicy stories, but now I think all of it was in her head.
 
We also did service for this lady. Her dad just passed, and she was trying to clean his house. He has about 60 model battery airplanes in his house, shed, another shed, and 2 trailers. She wanted us to clean them off, and then she could sell them. But for some reason, she made us do other around the house chores with her son. She did feed us, so that was a plus. But she fed us burnt chicken🫠
 
For FINDING FRIDAY, we had a competition with our district to see who found the most people. The people who won were gonna get lunch from our district leader and his comp. Well, we were cooking for a bit, and then we kept getting closed doors. Then we had our FHE, which cut into our finding time. By 8:00 we were behind by one and the competition ends at 9:00. BUT THEN, I CALLED EVERYONE AND 2 PEOPLE WERE INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE. I GOT OFF THE OHONE AT 8:59. I SLAPED THEIR NAMES IN THE CHAT AND WON THE COMPETITION 💥🏀

We ended the week by putting our friend, Rodger, on date for baptism. He has been getting taught for years but has had a lot of past addictions. But he told us that he quit all of them except for one. But once he gets paid, he will be able to buy a substitute for it. So, with all the info, we had faith that he could be baptized on June 28th. Please pray for him. He needs all that he can get. 
 
We play picklebal every morning and I swear its the episode of "The Middle" when Sue is on the tennis team. I get rage baited so hard. Like wym your gonna stomp on my X40 pickleball to stop it from rolling? Bffr
