Elder C in the ATL

Hey guys! This week was great! We have found twice the number of people as we did last time. Mega dub. It's been nothing but sun and I've been loving it.    This week we had interviews with our mission president. It was nice finally getting to know him and his wife. She told us the secret details that come with being a mission president.    Our whole day got shifted when we went to interviews. President Cox was ab an hour behind so we had to change the day around. Since we were in Atlanta for interviews we were gonna be late to some lessons. So we called a member, with who we were going to have a lesson, to let her know we couldn't make it. She was beyond mad that we couldn't make it. I just let her talk and apologized.    We then went to see her 2 days after and she was a little less mad. I think she was just mad at my companion lol. Whatever he said she just tried to prove him wrong and when I talked she just agreed. It's like we are playing good cop bad ...

Hey guys! This week has been good! It's been tough for our numbers, but I had a good week, so idrc. A good thing that happened this week was that 2 of our friends who are gonna be on date came to church yesterday!    This week, we went on exchanges. I went to Atlanta with one of our zone leaders, Elder Hess. It was super fun. That whole apartment is very fun. They also live right by the airport, so it was fun to watch the planes fly by.    When we were on exchanges, we helped some sister missionaries move a member in their ward. So it was 6 missionaries who helped a member move and 3 other men from their ward. It was really fun. One of the men there gave us money for lunch🕺   Then, when I went back to Mableton, we helped ANOTHER member move. It was this ginormous house. The ward really showed up. We had over 15 people help them. When I was carrying a box into the garage, I tripped over the ramp into the Uhual and somehow jacked up my knee. So basically, I was h...

Hey guys! Transfers happened, and I'm out of Americus! It was a good time, and now that im not there, I miss it tons. I'm glad to see other parts of the mission! Now I am in Mableton, GA! It's about 20 minutes west of Atlanta. I am with the district leader! It's very cool to see how much stuff goes into mission leadership.    Last Monday, I got so many postcards in Plains. Lmk if yall want one.    We had cool member meals this week. We have this member family who is so lit. All they talk about is Love Island. It's so beyond funny.    Every elder in my apartment plays a game called "Magic." All I know is that they geek out over this game. When they play, it's my nap time. But they are all kinda funny people.      There is nothing really to talk about, lol. It's been a pretty boring week. Hey guys! This week has been good! The heat hasn't been getting to me like I thought it would. I guess being raised in humidity  helps.      Canada Day🇨🇦 Since the senior missionaries in our area are from Canada, we celebrated Canada Day with them! We had some watermelon, and they shot off some fireworks. They were really excited when they heard that in America, you can just shoot off fireworks in the middle of the street!      This week, we had a good Zone Council meeting. It was probably the best one I've ever been to. It was all about extending church invitations. I got to see my friends, of course. But since I've been in the Columbus zone for 3 transfers, I'll probably be leaving and going to a different zone.      4th of July🦅🇺🇲🎆 We went to a members house for the 4th.
