They see me rolling👨🦽
Hey guys! This week has been good! It's been tough for our numbers, but I had a good week, so idrc. A good thing that happened this week was that 2 of our friends who are gonna be on date came to church yesterday!
This week, we went on exchanges. I went to Atlanta with one of our zone leaders, Elder Hess. It was super fun. That whole apartment is very fun. They also live right by the airport, so it was fun to watch the planes fly by.
When we were on exchanges, we helped some sister missionaries move a member in their ward. So it was 6 missionaries who helped a member move and 3 other men from their ward. It was really fun. One of the men there gave us money for lunch🕺
Then, when I went back to Mableton, we helped ANOTHER member move. It was this ginormous house. The ward really showed up. We had over 15 people help them. When I was carrying a box into the garage, I tripped over the ramp into the Uhual and somehow jacked up my knee. So basically, I was hobbling around the house trying to look fine. But I could barely walk. It hurt like a butt check on a stick omm. But I just wanted to sleep it off.
Then I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't stop shaking for about 15 minutes. I tried to get up but couldn't. I'm not sure what was happening, but I got back to sleep. I woke up and still couldn't walk at all. So we went to urgent care and they put me in a wheelchair. I went to get X-Rays, and they said my bones looked fine. But if it still hurts after a week, I need to get an MRI. So I got a knee brace and a strong dose of meds.
The brace helped a lot. After I got the brace, I walked around Walmart, holding onto the cart, inviting people to church. No one wanted to come to church, but they all felt bad for me😀
Now, I am limping around to knock doors. Hopefully, this will heal up soon. The good news is that I can go upstairs now! But I have to pick up my leg and put it in the car😔
Spiritual Thought:
As I have been reading the scriptures, I have seen how vital the founding fathers and also other leaders have been to the restoration of the church. If the Bill of Rights came out like 10 years later, who knows if the church would've been restored. God has timing for everything. Everything had to be perfect to get Jesus Christ church back on the earth.
