Freedom Week🇺🇲🦅

Hey guys! This week has been good! The heat hasn't been getting to me like I thought it would. I guess being raised in humidity  helps. 

 

 

Canada Day🇨🇦

Since the senior missionaries in our area are from Canada, we celebrated Canada Day with them! We had some watermelon, and they shot off some fireworks. They were really excited when they heard that in America, you can just shoot off fireworks in the middle of the street! 

 

 

This week, we had a good Zone Council meeting. It was probably the best one I've ever been to. It was all about extending church invitations. I got to see my friends, of course. But since I've been in the Columbus zone for 3 transfers, I'll probably be leaving and going to a different zone. 

 

 

4th of July🦅🇺🇲🎆

We went to a members house for the 4th. She had a party, and we ate ribs😛  I also had the best corn on the cob I have ever had. Couldn't stay out late to watch the fireworks, but it didn't matter since people were setting them off in our front yard! 

 

 

Yesterday I tried shimp! It was in a shrimp boil! The shrimp was not good. I had 2 of em and that was enough for me. But the sauce was so good. I should've made an ASMR video, no joke. 

 

 

We went to the home of a member yesterday to bring her the sacrament. She is an older lady, so she hasn't been to church in a bit. She was showing us her mom's collections of letters. A lot of them were from former US presidents. Her mom also got invited to Jimmy Carter inauguration! Which was so very cool. 

 

 

Transfers are this week!! Let's go! Another one down. Hopefully, I can get transferred. I love Americus so much it will be sad when I leave.
