First Week of MTC

WSP fam! It's crazy to think I've only been here for a week. It feels like a year, but also only a day. Time here doesn't feel real. I love my classes - the teachers we have are so smart and in tune with the Spirit, so we hear what we actually need to hear.

I love my district so much, and we make anything fun. It's never boring when we're all together. We mesh so well. We use every bit of free time to take pictures and bond. It's amazing being with people who have the same purpose. I love my companion, Elder Burbidge, too - we're very similar (aka we both know brainrot).

The food here is okay - not the worst, but not the best. The only good part is we eat together as a district.

Elder Burbidge and I are zone leaders, so basically we report any zone needs to our church leaders and yesterday we had to teach a mini lesson on hope. We also get to welcome the new missionary coming on Wednesday, which is cool.

Meeting other missionaries is really cool. Everyone is super nice. Whenever I say I'm from South Dakota, it's funny because people never meet anyone from there. It's also amazing to see so many people from different countries teaching the exact same gospel, and teaching the gospel through so many languages.

Sleep has been good. I'm in a room with 4 other elders and we wake up and go to sleep on time. We also make sure to keep ourselves in check and make sure we are following the rules.

Spiritual thought: If we solidify our foundation on Christ we can get through any challenge. One way to make our foundation stronger is following the commandments.
