Drug Deal in ATL
Hey guys!
This week has been very good! It has gone by super fast and has been sooo funny. Something happened every day, so I'm gonna do the lame format and give you a day-by-day.
We had zone council on Tuesday in Atlanta, and that was chill. Saw my twin and also found out that sister missionaries in my zone know my cousins? Not sure how they didn't connect the last names? Ig Clayburn is common?
Then on Wednesday, we had to get new tires and also get the car fixed. The condensation tube got loose and leaked in our car. While we were at the dealership, we did our studies, but we felt like we were being too loud, so we went to a powersports dealership next door to comp study. It was sweet. Walking it brought so many memories from last summer. I miss working at the dealership🥲
On Thursday, the only thing that happened was I ragebaited my whole apartment. I asked them, "What do you call a hamburger with no buns? Snoop Dog." They did not like the joke at all and were trying to figure it out. My comp was like This is stupid. I'm not even gonna try to figure it out. But after that, he tried to figure it out and got mad🤣🤣🤣

Then, on Friday, there was a missionary leadership meeting. My comp is a district leader, so he went to that. I went to downtown Atlanta with a new missionary, Elder Thacker. It was so fun. We had 2 members offer to buy us food. We saw 1 person get taken by EMS at a food court. Saw one hooker. AND a drug deal. I literally saw the coke in their hands when we were walking by😭😭
I WAS ONLY THERE FOR LIKE 8 HOURS AND SAW ALL THAT.
Saturday was normal.
Sunday was so goated. The temperature was in the 60s. It was so great. It felt like fall. Church was chill, too. After church, we visited a member who bore their testimony at church. She then proceeded to tell us she's looking for another church. We tried to reassure her, and I think we did bc she wanted us to come back!
